Endocrinology academic half day (AHD) occurs on Friday mornings between 8:00 and 11:00 am most weeks of the year. The AHD curriculum is intended to cover core endocrine topics as well as more specialized endocrine topics.
The sessions are attended by the endocrinology fellows and staff. There is a rotating schedule of events, which may include staff presentations, physical exam sessions, presentations prepared by the fellows, and journal clubs.
Locations
The location of AHD changes weekly, mostly alternating between VGH and SPH (occasionally at other locations, such as BC Children’s Hospital).
